Another Fun Day!

This time, we decided to take Holden after his pleading that he was a, "BIG BOY". "Mom" he would say, "Please take me with you, I can do it." On the way up he kept squealing and saying, " I have skis and I love them." He loved the chair lift, but wasn't so sure about his skis. He told me they were, "unstable" (his exact word). We should have gone yesterday though because it was a clear blue sky. Today was snowy. The neat thing about Holden though is that even though it was his first time and he was wobbly, and cold snow was blowing in his face he never once whined. He just asked questions like, "mom, why is it snowing", and "why do we wear skis", and "why is snow white" and these are just a few. He is such a sweetheart. It was a good day and we had fun.

My Favorite thing... Skiing

Posted by PicasaWe spent the afternoon skiing at Alta. Tally did a couple of face plants and a few flips and
everytime I was sure he would be crying saying he was done, but, he always came up laughing. He loves skiing and I'm so glad to have a skiing buddy, with such a cheerful attitude. Grandpa came with us and it always reminds me of the many days spent skiing with him, getting chili cheese fries, snickers and hot chocolate in the lodge. I am so blessed to have a Dad that is always available to spend time with me. In this last week he went fishing with Matt, hiking with Heather and skiing with me. I love you Dad.

It's so nice to be a kid, and have someone help with everything. I wish I had someone to help me tighten my boots everytime I put them on.

Quote of the Day!

" MOM, this is NOT garbage."!!! I had to laugh because my Mom went through the same thing with us kids. So, I'm doing my usual cleaning and picking up, and as I walk through the house I see paper airplanes so wrinked and bent that they will never fly, a deflated balloon from the dentist one week ago, a ball of chewed up gum, which Tally claims he can't live without because he needs it for glue, and dried up markers. I try to explain that we can't keep these things because they create clutter, and they can't be used, so we need to throw them away. They respond by taking the things they want and hiding them under their beds. I thought it was funny, so I won't throw them away until tomorrow when they aren't looking.
