" MOM, this is NOT garbage."!!! I had to laugh because my Mom went through the same thing with us kids. So, I'm doing my usual cleaning and picking up, and as I walk through the house I see paper airplanes so wrinked and bent that they will never fly, a deflated balloon from the dentist one week ago, a ball of chewed up gum, which Tally claims he can't live without because he needs it for glue, and dried up markers. I try to explain that we can't keep these things because they create clutter, and they can't be used, so we need to throw them away. They respond by taking the things they want and hiding them under their beds. I thought it was funny, so I won't throw them away until tomorrow when they aren't looking.
