Talmage always stays busy with something. He is attempting to bury this tree cousin Keely found in the water. Yuba once again! I know we should probably try some other destinations once in a while but we have so much fun here, and Tally and Holden love the mud/sand and the warm water. It's not that far to drive and whole lot cleaner than utah lake.
There's always a game of catch if my Dad is around, and it always ends up in a competition of who can throw the hardest.
Tal is always game for anything. First time ever on water skis and he got up the first time, and skiied about 10 feet then crashed. Thanks Tim for staying in the water to help him. Those were some BIG fish jumping around and I would've been afraid one would bite my toe.
Good job Dad! I love you... I love this picture because of the cows in the background mooing at us.
Tim and Keely braved the approaching storm. It was starting to get windy and she tried a couple of times. Brave little girl. Way to go!
This knee board came in quite handy and was a better beach toy than all the buckets and shovels combined.
Wee! Ryan gave Tal a good safe ride in the shallow water.

Holden looks a little tired. It think he is being lulled to sleep by the rythmic movements of his pony named Thunder. Really!
The little carnivore (Tally calls it a carnivore instead of a carnival) wouldn't be complete without a pony ride.
Tal is in the cowboy hat.
Draper has a parade every year and it happens to be just down the street. Lucky Us! We walked and Tally ran.
My cute sister is pregnant and loving every minute. Doesn't she look cute!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY my BIG 5 year old.
We all went to Jump on It for the evening party and had cake and pizza and Tal opened presents and jumped around untl his face was beet red and sweaty.
In the morning Talmage woke up to his favorite thing... Cinnamon Rolls! Holden even had the bright idea to put sparkles (sprinkles) on them and Tal loved them. The only thing as you can see is the candles are too big and they won't stand up, but Tal thought we did it that way on purpose and loved it.

Swimming Lessons for Talmage and Holden finally... I should've done it a lot sooner but I kept saying ,"I'll do it myself- I'll do it myself" and I never did- so I called my neighbor who has a pool and a gazillion teenager kids who teach swimming lessons, and she got me in the same day. They go for two weeks and it's cheap too. They loved it!
Tal is an excellent floater.
Good job Holdy!
Wow Talmage pretty impressive...

My two little fishies at Yuba.
Tal has turned into quite the little fish. He must have jumped off the boat about fifty times.
Yummy combination!
Holden must have swallowed something nasty.
I don't like to get splashed. I'm such a WIMP...
We went to Yuba last week and it was wonderful... The kids had so much fun playing in the sand, and water. We found a sandy beach and let them play until they both practically fell asleep, then we went to sleep and did it again the next day.
