Liberty Park

We spent the afternoon at Liberty park, visiting the aviary and riding the Ferris wheel. What a fun way to spend the day with people I love.

Memorial Day

We went to the cemetery with my parents to clean off the graves of some of our ancestors. The boys loved the cemetery, and thought it was pretty special that there was a herd of deer living there. Look closely and you can see them in the background.

Yes, that is Holden riding a two wheeler!

My little baby is riding a two wheeler. We practiced for about five minutes yesterday, then we tried again today and he took off like he had been riding for a while. Tally rode a two wheeler at two and half (no lie), but he was about the same size as Holden is now. He is so proud of himself and I am proud of him too.

We thought we lost our kitty. She was gone for three days, and we looked and looked for her. We even made posters to send around, but then she came home, and we were sooo happy. I have never loved a kitty more. This one is super special. She never runs from people, she is always cuddly and she is so soft. She feels like a bunny. The boys call her kidjah. Not sure where they came up with that name, but, that's what they call her.

Lunch in Grandpas classroom. Corndogs, a roll and french fries. Yummm:(!!! Just to be fair, there were some healthy choices, but who wants a salad when there are corndogs? Not me...
