No it's not the swine flu... My Dad found these masks in the garage and the boys thought they would be perfect to wear while cooking hot dogs! Not a bad idea.
Tally turned SIX!!! The day started with his favorite breakfast(pancakes with powdered sugar and syrup), a birthday party with all of his friends slip sliding, hot tubbing, pizza and a pinata, the skate park all evening with Daddy, then a late movie. He stayed up until midnight and as he drifted off to dream land he whispered, "that was the best birthday ever"!
Daddy has been teaching Tally to ride in a skate park bowl. I have seen Tal dip in and out of the bowl a couple of times and it gives me a heart attack, but Talmage is in love with bikes and so I gave in, and he recieved a new BMX bike for his birthday!!
We took a quick trip to the 95 degree heat of St. George. The boys wanted to swim and hike all day, and thank goodness it was sunny and hot both days we were there. As always, I am glad to be home and everyone else wishes they were still there.
Holden gathered lots of treasures and had his shirt full of rocks and broken eggs and feathers, but they were heavy and so he ended up keeping two small rocks that were actually sand. When he got to the car his shirt was full of sand and he wanted to know where the rocks went.
Jennys slot canyon. The boys thought it was so cool. As they were playing Tal yelled "Thank you Heavenly Father for making awesome things. I love it."
Tally liked it, but not so much. He would rather ride his bike.
Holden loves this pony! It was being sold for only $500 and I am sooo tempted to buy it. I just wish I had the space, and the know how to take care of a horse.
